Integrated Financial and Stock Management System
Hills Transplants is a wholesale seedling nursery based in Don, Tasmania. Datalive Software has developed a fully integrated financial and stock management system that allows them to operate more efficiently than ever before.System Requirements
Hills Transplants have been using custom databases for the complex scheduling and management of millions of seedlings for over 20 years. In 2006 it was identified that a new system could greatly improve the efficiency of their management and administration. Key goals of the system were to:- Bring all aspects of the business together into one unified system, and thus reduce the need for manual transfer of data
- Prevent data corruption by having strong validation, full multi-user capabilities and an appropriate level permission system
- Create an intuitive interface and help system so that a new employee can pick up the system with minimal training
- Provide a seamless transition from the old system, included importing all relevant historical data
- Ensure long term system performance
